One service for every Florida document.

An apostille is the form of authentication required when you use a U.S. document in another country that's a member of the 1961 Hague Convention. For any Florida-issued document, only the Florida Department of State in Tallahassee can issue an apostille — no other agency, no notary, no courthouse, no consulate. The state's standard mail-in turnaround is five to seven weeks. Our turnaround is five to seven business days. We close that gap by walking every document into the apostille counter in Tallahassee in person.

My Florida Apostille handles every category of Florida document the FL DOS will authenticate. Vital records (birth, marriage, divorce, death certificates), state law-enforcement records (FDLE background checks), educational credentials (diplomas, transcripts), notarized private documents (powers of attorney, affidavits, single-status letters, corporate resolutions), and Sunbiz corporate filings (articles of incorporation, certificates of good standing). If your document is Florida-issued and your destination country is a Hague signatory, we can apostille it.

Pricing is flat across every document type: $190 per document, with bundle discounts at 2 documents ($300 total) and 3+ documents ($130 each). State filing fee and return shipping are included. No hidden fees, no rush charges, no per-document add-ons. The same price whether you order online from anywhere in the U.S., drop off at our West Palm Beach office, or schedule a mobile pickup in Palm Beach or Broward County.

Why Floridians need an apostille.

These are the most common reasons our customers need a Florida apostille every week.

Foreign Citizenship by Descent

Italian jure sanguinis, Polish, Irish, Portuguese, German, Lithuanian, and other ancestral citizenship applications all require apostilled Florida vital records (birth, marriage, death certificates) for ancestors in your direct line.

International Real Estate Closings

Buying property in Mexico, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, or Spain? Closings require an apostilled, notarized power of attorney for a local attorney to sign on your behalf.

Foreign Work Visas

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Korea, China, the UK, and most EU work visa applications require an apostilled FDLE background check, diploma, and often birth certificate as part of the package.

International Marriage

Marrying abroad? Most foreign governments require an apostilled birth certificate, FDLE check, and notarized single-status affidavit before issuing a marriage license.

Foreign Education

Diplomas and transcripts from UF, FSU, UCF, USF, FAU, FIU, U of Miami, Miami Dade College, and other Florida schools must be apostilled before submission to foreign universities or credential evaluators like WES.

International Business

Articles of incorporation from Sunbiz, certificates of good standing, certificates of authority, and notarized corporate resolutions for opening foreign subsidiaries, foreign bank accounts, or qualifying to do business in another country.

Pick the way that fits your life.

All three options end the same way — your apostilled documents back in your hands in 5–7 business days, filed in person at the Florida Department of State.

Common questions.

Any document issued by a Florida state or county agency, or notarized by a Florida-commissioned notary, can be apostilled by the Florida Department of State. The main categories: birth/marriage/divorce/death certificates (vital records), FDLE background checks, diplomas and transcripts from Florida schools, notarized documents (powers of attorney, affidavits, single-status letters, corporate resolutions), and Sunbiz corporate documents.
With us: 5–7 business days from the moment we receive your documents. If you mail directly to the Florida Department of State yourself, expect 5–7 weeks once you include transit time and the state's processing queue. We achieve the faster turnaround by walking every order in person to the FL DOS apostille counter in Tallahassee.
$190 per document with us — state filing fee and return shipping included. Bundle pricing: $300 for 2 documents, $130 each for 3+. If you file directly, the state fee is $10 per document but you'll pay for shipping, the request form, your time, and the 5–7 week wait. See full cost breakdown →

No — only the state that issued the document can apostille it. If your birth certificate was issued in New York, only the New York Secretary of State can apostille it. We only handle Florida-issued documents (or documents notarized in Florida by a Florida-commissioned notary).
No. Our Tallahassee office at 113 S Monroe St is our filing office, half a mile from the Florida Department of State — it's where we walk documents in to the apostille counter, but it's not open for customer drop-offs. The only walk-in location is our West Palm Beach office. See WPB office details →
